New Joinery Services
In our workshop we make new Box Sash windows, double glazed or single glazed.
Our workshop is based in Herne Bay; this is where we hand make all new joinery if required. Each and every window is individually bespoke to your house.
At Meridian Home Improvemnents we would, where feasible like to use the existing Sash window, even the most unsightly, rotting window can usually be brought back to life with a little T.L.C! We will only replace a sash window with a new one if it is beyond economical repair.

We only use good quality products such as B.C Pine which is a high grade pine wood which is compulsory to use in any conservation area in almost all council boroughs across the U.K. We use Pilkington glass and you can, if you prefer, buy Argon Filled Double glazed units.
Argon Gas is a clear, odourless, colourless gas. It helps keep heat in during winter and out in the summer. With the combination of Argon gas and Low –e energy saving glass such as Pilkington ‘k’, can achieve an improvement in thermal performance of glass unit in the region of 50% over and above that of a standard sealed unit which results in lower energy costs! Another benefit of Argon filled units is that because the inner glass temperature is raised it will eliminate or substantially reduce condensation on the glass.
All our new joinery comes with the option of having a professional gloss finish. We us dulux paint and can provided finishes in a colour of your choice. We have our very own painter and decorator so if you want the option of having your old tired windows painted you can.

New joinery comes with draught proofing, new cords, Glazed either single or double, new pulleys and a Brighton fastener.
